Venturefest Bristol 2011 – inspiring and supporting business growth in and around Bristol and beyond.
Science City Bristol is delighted to
announce that Nigel Risner has agreed to be one of the keynote speakers at
Venturefest Bristol 2011. Nigel, one of the youngest CEOs in the City of
London, knows what it takes to lead a successful business. Both the Academy for
Chief Executives and Vistage have named him speaker of the year and his books
and presentations, based on his own business experience, are inspiring
businesses and individuals throughout the UK and beyond.
We are very pleased to be able to bring Nigel Risner to Venturefest Bristol 2011, which will take place at the newly opened Bristol and Bath Science Park on the 3rd November. Nigel's keynote presentation is just one of the components in a day designed to inspire and support the growth of innovative businesses. The event organised by Science City Bristol, will bring technology business ideas together with potential funding and support, to help these ideas become a reality.
Nigel's books and presentations
are designed to show businesses and individuals how they can make more impact and demonstrate new approaches to every day situations,
interactions, opportunities and challenges. Visitors to Venturefest Bristol
will be able to gain new insights, ideas and motivation that can make a real
difference to their businesses by hearing from Nigel at first hand.
Alongside inspiring keynote speakers,
Venturefest Bristol will be showcasing innovative ideas and providing
opportunities to pitch ideas to the Venturefest audience. The business ideas
demonstrated in these sessions will have an opportunity to raise their profile with
potential investors, collaborators and professional advisors. We still have a
few spaces left in "The Pitch" and if you have a business idea that you would
like included please get in touch at: admin@sciencecitybristol.com.
Venturefest Bristol will also include advice clinics and workshops as well as a few surprises to ensure that the delegates are thinking creatively about how to turn their ideas into reality. Finally, it will be a significant networking opportunity of the year for science and technology businesses in and around Bristol, Bath and throughout the West of England. Most importantly Venturefest will provide plenty of chances to network with hundreds of other attendees.
