Science.TV 
science.TV, based in the Pervasive Media Studio at the Watershed in Bristol, is a video sharing community dedicated to science communication. The site offers 2,000 short video clips and the tools to upload, share, navigate and filter to fit a broad range of scientific interests and ability levels. It is also testing some innovative ways of supporting science education in local schools. Null Hypothesis 
Null Hypothesis, the Journal of Unlikely Science, is a well-known for is fun view of the serious business of science. It has a loyal and growing following and is based at University Gate East - the SETSquared incubator at the University of Bristol. Institute of Physics  
 
The Institute of Physics is a scientific membership organisation devoted to increasing the understanding and application of physics. It has an worldwide membership of more than 34,000 and is a leading communicator of physics with all audiences from specialists through government to the general public.  
 
The South West branch, one of the thirteen regional branches of the Institute, is active in organising lectures, meetings and conferences for its members in the South West, and works locally to promote physics, physics education and public understanding of physics. More information about the branch and events can be found on the IOP website. 
 
Its publishing company, IOP Publishing, is a world leader in scientific publishing and the electronic dissemination of physics and is based in Bristol. In addition to their publishing activities, the organisation actively encourages connections between art and science. Frederique Swist, Senior Designer at IOP Publishing and PhD student at the University of the West of England has produced many interesting scientific designs a selection of which is shown below.
